Responsibilities
- Manage daily studio sessions with clients, including vocal recording, music production, editing, mixing and basic mastering
- Operate and maintain studio equipment, ensure all studio equipment is working properly before and during sessions
- Keep software, plug ins, DAWs and studio systems updated and properly organised
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to audio equipment, software and signal flow
- Support the studio team with social media content production, including behind the scenes content, short videos, session footage and other promotional materials
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional studio environment
Requirements
- Experience as a sound engineer, recording engineer and/or music producer
- Ability to produce songs in various commercial music genres
- Excellent knowledge of at least one major DAW, such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live
- Fluent English is required
- Experience with Dolby Atmos mixing is a great plus
- Experience in songwriting, arranging or topline production
- Basic video/content creation skills for social media (is a plus)
