Role Overview
Serve as the senior crew member overseeing receipt, storage, inspection, transport, and maintenance of USAF munitions and supporting resources.
Operate TICMS and MC2 and supervise assigned Munitions Technicians.
Ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Safety and Operations
- Enforce USAF and host nation explosives safety, AFOSH, and security standards during explosives and non-explosives operations.
- Escalate issues affecting munitions operations to Munitions Control and the Superintendent.
- Take control and ensure timely response actions during emergencies.
- Monitor multiple operations and ensure work follows priorities, goals, and schedules.
- Perform supervisor duties in the absence of Munitions Supervisors.
Munitions and Warehouse Work
- Conduct munitions work according to established quality processes, identify potential problems, and recommend solutions.
- Recondition, repair, and replace defective or missing munitions and container parts.
- Perform munitions storage and maintenance actions according to stringent explosives standards.
- Conduct warehouse inventories and correct discrepancies.
- Work with operations personnel to resolve serviceability and accountability issues.
- Prepare and configure munitions shipments for air, sea, and surface transportation.
- Load and unload trucks carrying incoming and outgoing munitions shipments.
- Assist with munitions inspections according to 11A-1-10 and applicable technical orders.
Required Standards and Systems
- Ability to operate Theater Integrated Combat Munitions Systems (TICMS) and MC2.
- Compliance with USAF and host nation explosives safety, AFOSH, and security standards.
- Ability to perform work according to the Performance Work Statement and ISO 9001 quality processes.
- Ability to supervise assigned Munitions Technicians and perform supervisor duties when required.
