Ensivo Solutions is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Municipal Finance Analyst to join our finance and public sector advisory team in Doha.
This role focuses on analyzing municipal budgets, expenditures, and financial performance to support efficient public service delivery and sound fiscal management.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial analysis skills with an understanding of government or municipal finance structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze municipal budgets, revenue streams, and expenditure patterns
- Prepare financial reports and performance analysis for municipal projects and programs
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for public sector operations
- Evaluate cost efficiency and recommend improvements in municipal financial management
- Assist in monitoring capital projects and infrastructure spending
- Ensure compliance with applicable public finance regulations and policies
- Collaborate with government stakeholders and internal teams to gather and validate financial data
- Develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making and transparency
- Contribute to financial modeling for municipal development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in municipal, government, or public sector environments
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and public finance principles
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and report-writing skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with government entities or consulting on public sector projects
- Familiarity with public financial management systems and regulations
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, deadline-driven environment
