Role Overview
We are looking for a Multi Skilled Plumber to join our London team, delivering responsive repairs and general multi-skilled work.
This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week covering the hours between 8am – 7pm Monday – Friday plus Saturday morning.
The later shift and Saturday morning working is delivered on a rota basis.
The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota, which comes with an additional payment.
To ensure timely access to our residents, the successful candidate must live within the KT, SW or TW postcode areas.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
A basic DBS check is required, which will be paid for by Guinness.
Essential requirements of the role
• You must be able to demonstrate competence within your primary trade, with the ability to carry out various multi-trade tasks such as basic joinery, tiling, plastering, groundwork, mould washes/treatment and flooring installation.
• Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, ideally within the social housing sector, with a consistent track record of delivering high quality service.
• Proven ability to work methodically, achieve targets, follow agreed procedures and accurately record information.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks and apply products that remove and treat damp and mould, in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
• Ability to operate safely, considering any environmental circumstances and possible risks.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or an equivalent recognised competency in the primary trade.
