Role Overview
Maintenance and MEP services company seeking a multi-skilled maintenance carpenter-painter in Dubai.
The role supports repairs and maintenance for villas, residential apartments, corporate offices, warehouses, and commercial spaces.
The position involves direct work inside clients’ homes and businesses and requires professional customer-facing conduct.
Gypsum and Carpentry Maintenance
- Install and repair gypsum ceilings, partitions, and false ceilings.
- Perform patch repairs, joint taping, and smooth skimming on damaged drywall.
- Fix and maintain doors, door closers, cabinet hinges, locks, handles, and office furniture.
Painting and Touch-Ups
- Perform touch-up painting that matches existing wall colors without visible patches.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling cracks or water-damaged areas.
- Mask and protect client floors and furniture before work and leave no mess behind.
Professional Conduct and Operations
- Maintain a clean, neat appearance and wear the company uniform.
- Interact with property owners, tenants, and office staff with politeness, honesty, and respect.
- Work with the MEP team and supervisors to complete jobs on time.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in the UAE is required.
- At least 1 year of carpentry experience and 1 year of painting experience are required.
- Expertise in gypsum ceiling repairs, wall skimming, detailed touch-up painting, full painting, and handyman work is required.
- Basic MEP knowledge and good conversational English are required.
- An honest, trustworthy, polite, and professional attitude is required.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,200–AED 2,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person.
