Multi-Property Assistant Social Media Manager

Role Overview

Education and Experience

• A 2-year degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related major plus two years of related experience is one accepted qualification path.
• A 4-year bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related major plus two years of related experience is an alternative path.
• Two years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, social media, or a related professional area is required.
• A strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing trends is required.
• Hospitality, lifestyle, food and beverage, or consumer-facing brand experience is preferred.

Social Media Strategy and Management

• Manage the day-to-day social media presence across assigned properties and channels.
• Develop strategies and editorial calendars aligned with marketing, communications, and commercial objectives.
• Create, curate, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
• Develop campaigns for rooms, food and beverage, spa, weddings, events, and other hotel initiatives.
• Monitor trends, competitors, and performance to optimize reach, engagement, and conversion.

Community and Reputation

• Manage online communities and respond to comments, messages, mentions, and conversations in a timely, brand-appropriate manner.
• Identify guest feedback, positive mentions, and potential issues, escalating matters where appropriate.
• Lead social listening and support online reputation management across relevant channels.

Content and Creative Production

• Plan and coordinate photography and video shoots for monthly, seasonal, festive, and promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate with photographers, videographers, designers, creative agencies, and other partners.
• Prepare creative briefs, maintain approved digital asset libraries, and ensure content meets brand standards and approval requirements.

Influencer and Campaign Support

• Develop relationships with local influencers, content creators, and media contacts and coordinate collaborations and hosted experiences.
• Coordinate paid social campaigns and align promotional messages with eCommerce and Revenue Management teams.
• Track campaign performance and recommend optimization opportunities.

Reporting and Collaboration

• Prepare regular reports on reach, engagement, audience growth, content performance, and campaign results.
• Provide insights and recommendations to the Director of Marketing and Communications and relevant stakeholders.
• Act as the primary social media contact across assigned properties and support integrated marketing activities.
