About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our radiology team. In this role, you'll assist radiologists with angiographic and other specialized procedures, while also performing the full scope of duties expected of a radiologic technologist. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties of a radiologic technologist.
- Assist radiologists during interventional procedures such as angiography, including managing instruments like catheters, guidewires, and needles.
- Prepare patients for specialized procedures with care and professionalism.
- Mix and administer contrast media as appropriate for each exam.
- Maintain a sterile field and prepare trays for procedures.
- Set up injection rates, imaging programs, and exposure sequences based on radiologist instructions.
- Take on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality and continuous improvement by participating in Quality in Action initiatives.
