About the Team ByteDance's Global Engineering CDN team builds and operates a highly available, cost-efficient, and high-performance global multi-cloud CDN platform that powers large-scale products such as TikTok.

Our platform integrates both self-built CDN infrastructure and commercial CDN vendors across multiple regions worldwide, delivering reliable and optimized content delivery for diverse global markets.

The team develops and operates core platform capabilities including domain onboarding and configuration management, content management, data analytics, and global traffic optimization.

Working in a highly distributed and complex environment, we continuously evolve the platform to support both static content delivery and dynamic acceleration, while optimizing for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Engineers in this team work across both software development and production operations, gaining hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems, global traffic management, and multi-cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities - Participate in the development and improvement of the global Multi-Cloud CDN data platform. - Build and maintain data pipelines, data models, dashboards, and data quality mechanisms for CDN traffic, performance, cost, resource usage, and vendor-related data. - Support data needs for CDN product operations, business analysis, cost optimization, and platform governance. - Develop data products and visualization tools to improve visibility into CDN usage, cost structure, service quality, and operational efficiency. - Help improve the stability, accuracy, timeliness, and scalability of CDN data systems.

Minimum Qualifications - Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Electronic Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or a related discipline. - Familiar with at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Java, or Scala. - Solid foundation in data structures, databases, operating systems, and basic distributed systems concepts. - Familiar with SQL and basic data processing concepts. - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and sensitivity to data quality.
