Role Overview
The MT5 Admin maintains the MetaTrader 5 trading environment, liquidity connections, bridge integrations, trade execution, and platform connectivity.
The role supports internal dealing, operations, and management teams and coordinates with technology providers when required.
MT5 Platform Administration
- Administer MT5 and monitor platform health, performance, server status, and connectivity.
- Create trading accounts, groups, permissions, and configurations.
- Configure symbols, leverage, margin, commissions, markups, swaps, and other trading parameters.
- Manage user access and platform security policies.
- Monitor trading activity and perform regular checks for stable platform operations.
Liquidity and Bridge Management
- Configure and monitor liquidity-provider connections, bridge connectivity, and bridge configurations.
- Monitor order routing and execution between MT5, bridges, and liquidity providers.
- Investigate rejected orders, slippage, trade discrepancies, liquidity issues, and pricing problems.
- Manage market data feeds and custom instruments and monitor quotes, spreads, and pricing integrity.
- Coordinate with liquidity providers and technology vendors when required.
