- Practical knowledge of mechanical fitting, alignment, and general electromechanical repair practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
- Previous experience in motor and generator repair, preferably within an industrial or workshop environment
- Vocational or technical qualification in electrical or electromechanical engineering, or equivalent hands on training

Role Description
- The Motor Winder will be responsible for rewinding, repairing, and overhauling electric motors and related components in an on site facility located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- This is a full time position requiring consistent presence at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting motors, diagnosing faults, stripping and cleaning stators and rotors.
- Winding coils according to specifications, and performing varnishing, baking, and testing.
- Working with various motor types and voltage ranges, using hand tools, measuring instruments, and specialised equipment.
- Collaboration with technicians and engineers to document work performed, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in motor rewinding, coil winding, and insulation procedures for AC and DC motors.
- Experience with fault diagnosis, testing, and troubleshooting using electrical measuring instruments and tools.
