Position Summary
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Mold Setter is responsible for safely performing mold changeovers, installations, and startups to support production goals, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
This role ensures molds are set up according to established processes, monitors key process parameters, maintains accurate documentation, and troubleshoots tooling, process, and equipment issues.
The Mold Setter plays a key role in supporting a safe work environment while minimizing downtime and maximizing production performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mold-changing equipment to safely and efficiently perform mold changeovers.
- Execute mold installation procedures to ensure molds are properly set up and production-ready.
- Understand and utilize quality system requirements, including interpreting process and quality data related to molding operations.
- Maintain accurate and thorough production documentation while ensuring effective communication of process and operational data.
- Perform all job duties in accordance with established safety policies, procedures, and company standards.
