This role requires expertise in working with metal, plastic, or composite molds, along with strong proficiency in reading blueprints, operating machining tools, and ensuring all molds meet established quality and production standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting efficient manufacturing operations through precise and reliable mold work.
Manufacture, assemble, and modify molds using machining techniques such as milling, grinding, drilling, and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining).
Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to create precise molds.
Troubleshoot and repair worn or damaged molds to maintain production efficiency.
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure molds remain in optimal condition.
Operate CNC machines, lathes, grinders, and other precision tools to fabricate mold components.
