The role combines cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, CI/CD ownership, DevSecOps, observability, reliability, and technical leadership.
The position requires 5 to 7 years of DevOps or cloud experience and hands-on delivery of production-grade cloud environments.
Required experience
- Have 5 to 7 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering.
- Have deep expertise in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure and be able to design architecture from scratch.
- Have implemented multiple production-grade cloud setups end to end.
- Be highly proficient with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD systems.
- Have hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, microservices, DevSecOps, observability, and reliability engineering.
- Be able to lead, mentor, and drive technical decisions across teams.
- Have strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing environments.
Delivery and automation
- Own and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for IDfy's digital fraud platform.
- Build automated workflows for build, test, deployment, and release using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Automate deployments, testing, environment setup, and release workflows.
- Work with engineering and product teams to deliver fast, secure, and reliable release cycles.
Security and observability
- Implement SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and policy enforcement as part of DevSecOps practices.
- Architect, operate, and evolve observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, and Elastic Stack.
- Troubleshoot production and pipeline issues with a focus on reliability and root-cause elimination.
Leadership and architecture
- Lead, mentor, and drive technical decision-making across teams.
- Architect and operate cloud platforms, containerized services, and microservices-based environments.
- Implement and maintain GitOps deployments with ArgoCD or Flux as an optional advantage.
Bonus experience
- Exposure to MLOps or data platforms is a bonus.
- Experience with GitOps deployments using ArgoCD or Flux is an optional advantage.
