Role overview
Develop and support aircraft system modeling and simulation within Airbus’s MBSE and systems engineering transformation initiatives.
Help enable smart automation, robust aircraft program development, and new system architectures.
Main responsibilities
- Develop behavioral and physical models for various aircraft systems.
- Verify and validate models on target simulation platforms.
- Integrate models with other system models to represent broader aircraft behaviors.
- Update models in response to change requests and system updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during system verification and validation campaigns across multiple aircraft programs.
- Support Airbus-wide system simulation initiatives.
- Automate analysis and verification and validation for system models.
- Initiate optimization studies and propose innovative solutions.
- Improve processes, methods, and tools through collaboration topics.
- Support MBSE tool deployment and manage new MBSE capabilities.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a relevant field; the degree preference is stated in the source.
- Three to eight years of experience in systems engineering, MBSE, or model-based development.
