Model-Based Design (MBD) Engineer_ECT

Tasks and responsibilities

• Translate complex high-level requirements into structured Simulink models using MAAB guidelines.
• Design and implement complex control logic using Stateflow and Simulink.
• Develop MATLAB M-scripts and tools to automate modeling tasks, data analysis, and report generation.
• Lead Model-Based Testing efforts, including Test Sequence creation and 100% MC/DC coverage.
• Represent the team as a technical subject matter expert in international forums.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and testing teams on model integration and deployment.
• Participate in peer reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring of junior developers.

Expected skill set

• Expert-level proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Experience with Simulink Test Manager and Simulink Coverage.
• Knowledge of MATLAB M-scripting and object-oriented programming.
• Understanding of thermodynamics, HVAC, and physical system modeling is preferred.
• Experience with Embedded C, Python, and microcontroller hardware architectures is preferred.
• Clear technical articulation, international collaboration, proactive teamwork, and mentoring capability.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree with an Electronics background.
• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.
