We are seeking an experienced and driven **Wellness / Pilates Modality Manager** to oversee all studios operating within this modality.
This role is responsible for leading performance, developing high-quality coaching teams, and ensuring a premium, consistent member experience across all locations.
The successful candidate will combine strong operational leadership with a passion for Pilates and wellness, driving both team development and commercial performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring visibility across studios, coaching delivery, and close collaboration with the Operations Manager.
Leadership & Team Development
- Oversee and lead all studio teams within the Pilates / wellness modality
- Recruit, onboard, and train new coaches and team members
- Manage probation reviews, performance evaluations, and development plans
- Conduct **weekly meetings with Head Trainers** to align on performance, priorities, and standards
- Lead **one full team meeting per month** to drive alignment, culture, and communication
- Foster a high-performance, positive, and accountable team culture
- Identify and develop future leaders within the team
Coaching & Product Delivery
- Deliver a **minimum of 12 classes per week** across studios, maintaining exceptional coaching standards
- Ensure consistency in class delivery, coaching quality, and member experience across all locations
- Lead by example through energy, professionalism, and technical excellence
- Continuously evolve and elevate the Pilates / wellness offering in line with brand standards
Operations & Performance Management
- Take ownership of studio performance across the modality, including **revenue, utilisation, and retention**
- Work within defined budgets, managing staffing costs and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager in a **weekly 1:1 meeting** to review performance, challenges, andopportunities
- Analyse KPIs and implement strategies to improve studio performance and member engagement
- Support scheduling decisions to optimise class occupancy and team utilisation
Reporting & Communication
- Produce **monthly sales reports across all POS systems** to track revenue, performance, and trends
- Deliver a **weekly team update email** summarising key operational updates, priorities, and performance insights
- Prepare **one comprehensive monthly report per studio**, covering all aspects of the business including:
- Sales and revenue performance
- Membership trends and retentionStaff performance and updatesOperational highlights and challenges o Action plans for the following month
- Ensure clear, consistent communication across all levels of the business
Hiring & Staffing
- Lead the hiring process for all roles within the modality, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels across all studios, balancing full-time and freelance resources
- Build a strong pipeline of talent to support growth and operational stability
Member Experience & Retention
- Ensure a premium, consistent member journey across all studios
- Support Head Trainers in delivering consultations, onboarding experiences, and retention strategies
- Address member feedback and identify opportunities to enhance the overall experience
- Maintain strong visibility within studios and build relationships with members
Standards, Compliance & Brand Delivery
- Uphold all brand standards, SOPs, and operational expectations across studios
- Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Maintain alignment with company policies and local regulations
Marketing & Growth Support
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support campaigns, launches, and promotions
- Contribute to content ideas, events, and community engagement initiatives
- Support pre-sale and launch strategies for new studios within the modality
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role within Pilates, fitness, or wellness environments
- Strong understanding of coaching, class delivery, and member experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive results
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and revenue targets
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Passion for wellness, fitness, and building high-performing teams

- Revenue performance across all studios within the modality
- Membership growth and retention rates
- Class utilisation and attendance
- Staff performance, retention, and development
- Quality and consistency of reporting and communication
- Member satisfaction and experience standards
- Successful hiring and probation completion rates
