About the Role
Supports the Senior Hard Facilities Manager in delivering, coordinating, and assuring HVAC and air conditioning hard services maintenance and minor project works across the UK estate.
Operates with substantial autonomy and professional judgement to keep HVAC systems safe, compliant, and operational.
The role involves nationwide travel and periods working away from home.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver planned and reactive HVAC maintenance across multiple sites with minimal day-to-day supervision.
- Undertake AC installations from planning and parts ordering through site liaison, works completion, and certification.
- Coordinate planned preventative maintenance and compliance activities to maintain statutory compliance.
- Prioritize work, diagnose faults, and resolve complex HVAC issues.
- Act as an Authorised Person for relevant mechanical or electrical systems when appointed.
- Supervise, coordinate, and induct specialist subcontractors.
- Prepare and implement RAMS and safe systems of work.
- Deliver toolbox talks and support health and safety across sites.
- Liaise with clients, internal stakeholders, and service partners.
- Maintain oversight of essential spares, materials, and equipment.
- Complete maintenance and compliance documentation and reports.
