This Mobile Developer III Android role is part of the Homepage team which sits within our Technology division. The Homepage team shapes the first interaction travelers have with Expedia by building seamless, personalized experiences across native apps and web, including the home page and navigation that help travelers explore, discover, and shop for travel products. In this role, you will craft the initial experience for customers entering the Expedia ecosystem by delivering robust, scalable Android applications and services.

Build, enhance, and maintain Android applications that deliver reliable, high-quality experiences for travelers and partners.

Apply sound software engineering practices across the development lifecycle, including implementation, testing, debugging, code review, and continuous improvement.

Contribute to system design, low-level design, API design, and data modeling for mobile features and services within the role’s ownership scope.

Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to translate product and technical requirements into scalable Android solutions.

Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve outcomes, while applying foundational AI/ML concepts to real-world products and workflows.

Use technical aptitude and domain expertise to solve problems across mobile and related technical domains, adapting solutions to evolving product and platform needs.
