About the engagement
We are assembling a specialist team to deliver an independent, comprehensive audit of a portfolio of core banking and payment mobile applications for a major financial institution in the Kingdom.
This is a high visibility assignment covering governance, security controls, secure development practices and regulatory compliance across the in-scope applications and their supporting environment.
We are looking for experienced auditors who can work on site with the client and maintain audit workpapers and deliverables to a high standard within an audit management system (e.g., Teammate).
You'll be responsible for timely and complete documentation of all audit stages, workpapers and stage wise deliverables within the client's audit management system, working under their audit methodology and quality assurance review process.
Required Qualifications
- CISA certification
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) strongly preferred — given the engagement is led by Internal Audit, CIA holders or dual CISA/CIA candidates will be prioritized
- 3-5 years of IT / application audit experience, with demonstrable experience auditing banking, fintech or financial services mobile applications
- Strong understanding of internal audit methodology, workpaper standards and quality assurance review processes
- Strong understanding of mobile application security (OWASP MASVS / Mobile Top 10) for both iOS and Android
- Hands-on experience auditing APIs, authentication services and middleware integrations
- Familiarity with SAMA Cyber Security Framework and relevant KSA regulatory requirements
- Experience documenting audits within Teammate or a comparable audit management platform
- Excellent report writing and stakeholder communication skills
- Preferred / advantageous
- Additional certifications: CISM, CRISC, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or CEH / OSCP
- Prior experience auditing core banking applications or digital payment platforms
- Existing iqama / valid KSA work authorization (willing to work freelance / contract basis)
Terms
- Assignment based / freelance contract for the engagement duration
- On-site presence in KSA required for the duration of the engagement
- Immediate to short-notice availability preferred
