Responsibilities
- Design and develop mobile applications based on business and technical requirements
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive and engaging user interfaces
- Implement features that provide seamless functionality across a variety of mobile devices and operating systems
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, manage local and cloud based data storage, implement authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot application issues, debug defects, monitor application health, and deliver timely updates, feature enhancements, and maintenance releases
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, automated testing, CI/CD implementation, application architecture discussions, and evaluation of emerging mobile technologies
Requirements
- Strong understanding of mobile application development, software engineering principles, object oriented programming, mobile architecture, software design patterns, and SDLC
- Proficiency in native Android and/or iOS development or cross platform mobile development frameworks, mobile SDKs, RESTful API integration, relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control systems, and modern development tools
- Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles, responsive design, application security, authentication and authorization, push notifications, offline synchronization, performance optimization, mobile accessibility, and application publishing processes
