Role Description
- The Mobile App Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high quality mobile applications across iOS, Android, or cross platform environments.
- Works closely with cross functional teams to build innovative mobile solutions that align with business objectives and user needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mobile applications based on business and technical requirements.
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive and engaging user interfaces.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, manage local and cloud based data storage, implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot application issues, debug defects, monitor application health, and deliver updates and maintenance releases.
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, automated testing, CI/CD implementation, and architecture discussions.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of mobile application development, software engineering principles, object oriented programming, mobile architecture, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in native Android and/or iOS development or cross platform mobile development frameworks, mobile SDKs, RESTful API integration, and databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, mobile testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps practices is an advantage.
- Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles, responsive design, application security, authentication, push notifications, offline synchronization, and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
