Job Description: Mission Design & Analysis Engineer

Who we are: Upgraha Space Technologies is start-up based out of Bengaluru providing turnkey small satellite solutions and services that enable governments and businesses to access high-quality, timely data from space. This data has a vast range of applications, from weather forecasting to precision farming to environmental monitoring, and is essential to improving our quality of life on Earth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Create comprehensive mission designs based on customer needs to support ongoing business development efforts.

Perform orbital analyses for various mission scenarios.

Define Mission Concept of Operations.

Support the writing of proposals by providing technical content and review

Design and validate the mission "sequence of events" for bus commissioning, payload checkout/calibration, and mission operations.

Skills Desired

Experience with commercial spacecraft operations

Must Have: Mission design and orbit simulation experience using commercial software (STK, GMAT)

Knowledge and understanding of operating multiple spacecraft in-formation.

Knowledge and understanding of spacecraft conjunction analysis

Understanding of principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in Mission Design.

Educational Requirement:

Bachelor’s/Master's Degree (Aerospace) in Engineering
