Job Summary
- Assists the minibar/refreshment center attendant team. Helps with opening and closing duties, including preparing supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, and facilitating a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the minibar/refreshment center attendant team with opening and closing duties.
- Take inventory of refreshment center, room accessories, and promotional materials and replace as needed.
- Record sales using computer system and restock bars as directed.
- Know product availability, expiration dates, and inventory levels to avoid stock outs.
- Use computers and software to assign guest rooms to attendants and track notes.
- Prepare a list of rooms to be inventoried each day, prepare a restocking cart, and push cart to floors.
- Place orders with suppliers in case of emergency.
- Respond to guest requests and assign to appropriate attendant.
- Communicate any issues related to refreshment center operation to hotel managers.
- Serve as a role model or mentor working alongside employees to perform technical or functional job tasks.
Desired Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Related work experience: At least 2 years.
- Supervisory experience: None required.
- License or certification: None.
Physical Requirements
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Read and visually verify information in various formats.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights.
- Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
- Climb stairs and/or service ramps.
