Responsibilities

• The Miner 3 i s responsible for the safe and productive operation of eight (8) yard scoops, 30 and 45-ton haul trucks; Scissor lifts and Boom trucks.
• Able to assist in the installation of mine services, as well as assist in loading rounds;
• Ensure all policies and procedures in relation to safety and production are followed;
• Solid work ethics, regular attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude, are essential requirements for this position.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum two (2) years underground mining experience.;
• Minimum one (1) year operating heavy equipment underground; (scoop/truck);
• Ability to operate various underground utility vehicles;
• B.C. underground blasting ticket considered an asset;
• First aid ticket an asset;
• Ability to operate a trans mixer an asset.
• Ability to shoot shotcrete an asset.
• Physically fit to perform the duties of the position;
