The Heavy Equipment Operator is expected to follow all operating procedures, participate in safety initiatives, and work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow team members to support safe and productive mining operations.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Arizona Driver's License.
Experience operating additional types of heavy mining equipment.
Work in an active surface mining environment with exposure to varying weather conditions.
Operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
Frequently enter and exit heavy equipment using stairs and ladders.
Walk and work on uneven terrain.
Perform work in dusty, noisy, and vibrating environments.
Work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required to support mine operations.
All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical exam, drug and alcohol test, and background check. All positions require a pre-placement physical examination to ensure candidates are 'fit for duty’. Additional training and/or testing may be required. Capstone maintains a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
