Reporting to the Underground Manager, you will oversee the Mine Control function and provide leadership to ensure effective communication, coordination, and monitoring of underground activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate Mine Control operations across all shifts.
- Lead and mentor Mine Controllers and drive adherence to site procedures.
- Monitor underground mining activities in real time.
- Coordinate communication between operations, maintenance and technical teams.
- Maintain operational records, reports and compliance documentation.
- Support incident management and emergency response coordination.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Mine Control.
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards and statutory requirements.
About You
Previous experience in a Mine Control Supervisor, Senior Mine Controller or similar role.
Strong understanding of underground mining operations and safety systems.
Demonstrated leadership and people management capability.
Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
Experience with mine control, dispatch and personnel tracking systems.
