Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as: motors, pneumatic equipment, conveyor systems and elevators, storage tanks and bins, internal gear pumps, positive displacement pumps, steam boilers and hot oil heaters.
• Ability to follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment. Ability to inspect and perform data collection by using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Ability to remove perform internal inspection, dismantle, rebuild and reassemble asset components by using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools.
• Ability to create hand sketches of assemblies, as well as understand dimensional drawings, bills of materials and equipment service manuals.
• Ability to inspect and asses wear and remaining useful life of various power transmission components such as sprockets, chains, couplings, drives, rolls, pulleys, bearings etc. by use of vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, levels, plumb bobs, strobe lights, laser alignment kits and other precision instruments.
