Millwright- Continental Night Shift

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A)
• Completion of secondary school and a recognized Millwright Apprenticeship Program or equivalent
• At least 4 years of experience working as a Millwright in an industrial Manufacturing setting
• Strong mechanical knowledge and electrical knowledge an asset
• Ability to work with pumps, motors, conveying equipment, hydraulic equipment and large industrial machines
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Working knowledge of local and Canadian electrical and safety codes
• Advanced working knowledge of electrical, PLC programming, and motor controls
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and manuals for equipment Ability to problem-solve and execute solution, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment
• Ability to manage multiple task and prioritize while staying organized
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work at heights (training will be provided)
• Demonstrated leadership and work ethic
• Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and working conditions
• Experience using Maintenance Software programs
• Counterbalance forklift certification and experience is considered an asset
• Welding Certification an asset
• Elevated work platform certification an asset
• Clear criminal record check required
