Role Overview
QLUX Millwork Solutions is seeking a design-minded, highly organized person for a central role in its custom kitchen and millwork operation.
The position connects clients, the design studio, drafting, production, estimating, installation, and management.
This is not a drafting position or a traditional office administrator role.
Design Studio
- The role is based in QLUX's Design Studio and Client Experience Center in North York, Ontario.
- The studio allows clients to experience materials, finishes, proportions, lighting, cabinetry details, hardware, and complete design ideas.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage daily Design Studio activity and lead client design and project discussions.
- Guide clients through cabinetry, kitchen, millwork, materials, finishes, layouts, hardware, and design decisions.
- Coordinate appointments, presentations, selections, revisions, approvals, and follow-ups.
- Manage multiple projects and identify changes affecting design, scope, pricing, materials, production, or installation.
- Prepare and update quotations and identify additional manufacturing, material, hardware, or installation costs.
- Coordinate information among clients, designers, drafting, production, installation, and management.
