Join the Middleware Application Infrastructure Team as an Automation Engineer.
Build Python and UNIX shell-based automation, enable self-service capabilities, and improve platform and infrastructure operations.
The role supports WebSphere, JBoss, IIS, MFT, Kafka, MQ, Autosys, and other middleware technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support automation for middleware and web application platforms.
- Build scripts for business-as-usual automation, health checks, monitoring, validation, and remediation.
- Enable self-service automation through APIs and workflow-based solutions.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, and cleanup activities.
- Support incident, problem, and change management with automation-first approaches.
- Collaborate with Middleware, SRE, and Infrastructure teams to standardize operational processes.
- Maintain automation code in version control using secure and scalable development practices.
- Improve platform resilience, performance, and operational efficiency through automation.
- Manage defects and user stories using Jira, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
