What You’ll Do
- Teach math classes in a clear, engaging, student centered way.
- Deliver lessons using Think Academy’s curriculum.
- Support students in Pre Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2.
- Manage virtual classroom and create positive learning environment.
- Grade homework and provide timely academic feedback.
- Communicate with students and parents about progress.
- Participate in teacher training and professional development.
- Work 30 40 hours per week, mostly weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress.
- Strong math foundation with middle school topics or above.
- Passion for teaching and supporting student growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commit at least one semester with fixed teaching schedule.
- Available to work weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
- Experience in tutoring, mentoring, or teaching is a plus.
- Math competition background (e.g., AMC) is a plus.
- Available for 5 day on site paid training in San Jose, CA.
Compensation & Benefits
- Teaching Hours: $35 45/hour.
- Non Teaching/Admin Hours: $16 20/hour.
