Trigon Cyber is seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain innovative software solutions that support critical aerospace and defense programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex technical challenges, enjoys working in a collaborative engineering environment, and is capable of contributing throughout the entire software development lifecycle—from requirements analysis and system design to implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment. This position is primarily office- or laboratory-based, with occasional travel (up to 25% ) to customer sites, integration laboratories, or test locations as required.
Software Design & Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications supporting aerospace and defense systems.
Software Engineering Lifecycle: Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, architecture and design, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, integration, and test engineers to ensure seamless integration of software components and successful system performance.
Quality & Review: Conduct software design reviews and peer code reviews.
Provide constructive technical feedback while promoting coding standards, quality assurance, and best practices.
Testing & Validation: Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests.
Utilize automated testing frameworks and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to validate software functionality and improve software quality.
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
