Mid-Level Communications Specialist

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field

• At least 3-6 years of experience in communications, public relations, or related fields, with a strong track record of leading communication initiatives
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, concise messaging
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of OCM theories and models (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter's 8-step Model, Lewin's Change Management Model)
• U.S. Citizenship
• Must reside within 50 miles of Scott AFB, IL
• Eligible for Secret Clearance

• Advanced certification in Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent fields is a plus
• Additional certifications in leadership or strategic communication are advantageous
• Expertise in visual storytelling, graphic design, and the creation of digital media
• Advanced proficiency in communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systems
• Experience with digital communications tools (e.g., SharePoint, web content platforms, email marketing tools)

The posted salary range for this role is $88,000-115,000.

The posted salary range is not an exact indication of the actual compensation offered and is instead a range of what NetImpact, in good faith, could compensate at the lowest and most high end of the salary market.

In general, NetImpact may not pay the top of the salary range.

Compensations are determined by several mitigating factors including skillset, experience, trainings, location, and other factors including benefits packages.
