Assignment Overview

  • Serendib Training is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power BI & AI Analytics Consultant/Trainer to deliver a 2 day instructor led Power BI & Microsoft Copilot Bootcamp for a leading organisation in Qatar.
  • The programme is a premium corporate training engagement for approximately 25–30 professionals from diverse business functions.
  • The trainer must bridge technical concepts with real business applications and create an engaging, hands on learning experience.

Bootcamp Objectives

  • Build professional Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Connect, clean and transform data from multiple sources
  • Develop interactive visualisations and executive dashboards
  • Apply DAX and Power Query for business reporting
  • Improve business decision making through analytics and data storytelling
  • Use Microsoft Copilot to accelerate reporting, automate routine tasks and generate AI assisted insights
  • Apply practical business intelligence techniques using real world business scenarios

Essential Requirements

  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL 300) certification or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ hands on experience implementing Microsoft Power BI solutions
  • Extensive experience with Power Query, DAX, data modelling and dashboard development
  • Proven experience delivering instructor led corporate training programmes
  • Experience implementing enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions
  • Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non technical audiences
  • Excellent spoken and written English

Highly Desirable

  • Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)
  • Microsoft Fabric (DP 600) certification or practical implementation experience
  • Microsoft Copilot implementation experience
  • Microsoft 365 Copilot and/or Power BI Copilot experience
  • Power Automate
  • Azure Data Factory
  • SQL
  • Python
  • Data Warehousing
  • AI assisted analytics
  • Executive dashboard design
  • Data storytelling and business intelligence strategy

Preferred Industry Experience

  • Experience delivering similar programmes for organisations within multiple industries
  • Experience within the GCC or Middle East will be an advantage

  • Practical Microsoft Power BI implementation expertise
  • Corporate training and facilitation capability
  • Business focused analytics experience
  • Experience delivering engaging, hands on workshops using real world business scenarios
