Position Summary

  • The Microsoft Technology Specialist is responsible for the design, development, implementation, integration, and support of Microsoft based business applications and digital transformation solutions.
  • The role focuses on Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, and .NET technologies to automate business processes, improve operational efficiency, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Power Platform Development: Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Develop Canvas Apps and Model Driven Apps using Power Apps.
  • Create and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Design dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SQL Server, and third party applications.
  • Implement governance, security, and best practices for Power Platform environments.
  • SharePoint Administration and Development: Design and manage SharePoint Online sites, document libraries, and workflows.
  • Develop SharePoint forms, lists, and business process solutions.
  • Configure permissions, security groups, and document management processes.
  • Support collaboration and document management initiatives across business departments.
  • Implement metadata management, retention policies, and content governance.
  • Microsoft Forms and Business Process Automation: Design and deploy Microsoft Forms for data collection and workflow initiation.

Key Responsibilities (continued)

  • Integrate Forms with Power Automate and SharePoint for automated processing.
  • Develop approval workflows and business process automation solutions.
  • Create user friendly digital forms to replace manual and paper based processes.
  • .NET Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and Web APIs.
  • Develop integrations between enterprise applications and Microsoft platforms.
  • Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing .NET applications.
  • Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Support deployment and maintenance of web and enterprise applications.
  • Integration and Data Management: Develop APIs and integration services between ERP, CRM, DMS, and Microsoft platforms.
  • Work with SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and performance tuning.
  • Support data migration, synchronization, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.

Support and Project Delivery

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical specifications, solution designs, and documentation.
  • Participate in project planning, testing, deployment, and post go live support.
  • Provide user training and knowledge transfer.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and application enhancements.

Technical Skills Required

  • Microsoft Technologies: Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Forms, SharePoint Online, Azure Services (preferred)
  • Development Technologies: .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, REST API Development, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SQL Server
  • Additional Skills: Application Integration, Business Process Automation, Document Management Systems, Workflow Design, Solution Architecture, Technical Documentation, Agile/Scrum Methodology

Preferred Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience in Power Platform implementation and administration.
  • Experience in SharePoint Online development and administration.
  • Experience in enterprise application development using .NET technologies.
  • Automotive industry experience preferred, particularly in Spare Parts, Service, Sales, CRM, and Dealer Management Systems.
  • Experience integrating ERP, CRM, DMS, and Microsoft solutions.
