Microsoft Azure Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience managing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments
• Strong grasp of Azure services, including VM, storage, networking, security, identity, and monitoring
• Proficient in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform)
• Experience with cloud migration, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud architectures
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, NSG, firewall, load balancing)
• Experience implementing security controls and monitoring in Azure
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Azure certification(s) such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent

• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and managing code repositories
• Knowledge of containerization with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and microservices architectures
• Experience integrating Azure with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and on-premises systems
• Familiarity with governance, cost management, tagging strategies, and resource optimization
• Exposure to data platforms in Azure (SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Data Factory) and analytics solutions
• Understanding of cloud security frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team culture
