Role Overview
The Indoor Science team applies microbiology to homes, offices, and facilities to help clients understand indoor environmental conditions.
The role requires at least one year of relevant microbiologist experience and involves work beyond a traditional laboratory setting.
Candidate Profile
- Understand microbiology and the interaction between microorganisms, indoor environments, and building conditions.
- Ability to observe carefully, follow scientific procedures, interpret results, and communicate findings clearly.
- Precise, organised, and comfortable working independently and with an operations team.
- Experience in microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, air or surface sampling, laboratory analysis, or inspection is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological and environmental inspections across residential, commercial, and other indoor environments.
- Carry out air, surface, and other environmental sampling in accordance with established procedures.
- Analyse and interpret microbiological findings and laboratory results, identifying potential areas of concern.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate findings and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
- Support investigations related to indoor air quality, microbial contamination, mould, and other indoor environmental conditions.
- Work with Indoor Science and Operations teams to maintain inspection, sampling, and reporting standards.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and sampling procedures while developing technical knowledge.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 6,000 to AED 8,000 per month.
- The company describes opportunities to grow with increasing technical expertise.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
- The work covers residential, commercial, and other indoor client environments.
Travel
- Willingness to travel 50% is preferred.
