Role overview
Perform quality-control microbiology for raw materials, semi-finished goods, packaging materials, and the production environment.
Work in the microbiology laboratory while supporting the laboratory team and facility operations.
Execute assigned methods, maintain analytical instruments, and release laboratory results.
Laboratory responsibilities
- Conduct incoming goods sampling and transfer samples to the laboratory.
- Prepare samples and plates, incubate tests, evaluate results, document analyses, and create reports.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and coordinate repairs and supplier service.
- Develop, validate, adapt, and document microbiological methods and SOPs.
- Schedule environmental monitoring and coordinate testing with production.
Quality and operations support
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, quality control, facility management, and the HACCP team.
- Support food-safety and quality-system requirements.
- Support startup projects, system tests, equipment setup, documentation readiness, and continuous improvement.
