We are working on Project Astra, which is NetApp's new offering delivering end-to-end application data lifecycle management for cloud native applications hosted on Kubernetes clusters. Astra Control Center is a self-managed software solution that enables data protection, disaster recovery, and migration for on-premise Kubernetes workloads leveraging NetApp’s industry-leading data management technology for snapshots, backups, replication, and cloning. As part of the quality engineering function, the focus of the group is on product quality, test automation development, regression test suites, scale and stress testing and customer success.

Job Responsibilities: This position requires the manager to be technically strong, possess strong leadership, able to work with cross-functional teams, and driven to ensure delivery of high quality features. • Manage a team in Bangalore; lead and inspire the team • Align the team with the larger Quality Engineering team. • Lead the team for test automation of end-to-end customer scenarios. • Drive efficiencies in regression test suites, scale and stress tests, and interoperability testing • Empower your team to learn and grow and support them in their career goals. • Build and promote a work environment that is diverse, highly collaborative and team­centric. • Collaborate with leadership team to ensure we are building the best teams. • Work closely with sustaining, support and product management to get the right test coverage • Interface and work with customer facing support and maintenance teams to understand customer issues and help triage them • A willingness to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will positively contribute towards team, department, and company goals
