Job Summary

Assists the Director of Security in managing daily security operations.

Protects property assets, employees, guests and hotel property.

Supports accident and fire prevention and response.

Maintains logs, certifications and documents required by law and standard operating procedures.

Work Arrangement

  • The position is based at a hotel property in the Central Area District of Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
  • The schedule is full time and the source identifies the position as not remote.

Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or GED plus 3 years of security, loss prevention or related experience is required, or a 2-year degree in Criminal Justice or a related major plus 1 year of relevant experience.
  • The role requires experience or capability in security operations, incident response, staff leadership and required documentation.

Managing Security Operations

  • Assist with developing and implementing emergency procedures.
  • Recommend follow-up action for security breaches.
  • Investigate losses of property assets and refer matters to appropriate management.
  • Deploy security staff to monitor and protect property assets.
  • Comply with corporate security, safety and security-management guidelines.
  • Complete reports for employee accidents and general-liability incidents.
  • Conduct patrols of the property and parking areas and maintain required records.
  • Identify physical hazards and unsafe practices and implement risk-control plans.
  • Keep current with local criminal activity affecting the property.
  • Inspect security equipment and ensure it is fully functional.
  • Provide means for timely medical attention.
  • Implement local authority security and safety requirements.

Leading Security Teams

  • Attend meetings to understand group needs and communicate relevant information to security officers.
  • Communicate safety procedures and monitor related processes.
  • Provide guidance and direction, including setting and monitoring performance standards.
  • Coach and mentor employees and support their development.
  • Conduct employee performance appraisals according to standard procedures.
  • Complete disciplinary procedures and required documentation.
  • Maintain first aid and CPR certifications required for security officers.

Customer Service and Human Resources

  • Display leadership in guest hospitality and create a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
  • Empower employees to provide excellent customer service.
  • Meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Handle guest problems, settle disputes and resolve grievances or conflicts.
  • Support claims management and bring relevant issues to Human Resources.

  • The role requires sound safety, security, risk-control and customer-service judgment.
