SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

• Accountable for project team performance, project schedule and execution, budget commitments and spend. • Leads team in defining project strategies, developing goals, and ensures project scope is defined and controlled. • Continuously interacts with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholders. • Ensures identification and communication of project risks, development of risk plan and proactive management of risk response strategies. • Anticipates potential conflict situations for proactive solutions and manages conflict situations to result in win-win outcomes. • Leads core team to identify and implement continuous improvement.

• Business Acumen • Role Model of Vital Behaviours and Leadership Essentials • Expertise in all aspects of program management • Ability to communicate effectively using a wide variety of skills and vehicles • Ability to manage cross-functional teams simultaneously in a matrix environment • The role thus requires the person to be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills, be capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought and experience • PMI or IPMA or equivalent certification required • Ability to travel up to 25% of time
• Education/Training Requirements • MBA/MS or Bachelor’s degree • PMI / PMP Certification (or equivalent) desired.
• Experience • 10 years of product life cycle experience • 5 years project management experience with demonstrated success leading multi-site projects • Strong knowledge Medical Device Product Lifecycle (ISO 13485 and FDA QS Regulation 21 CFR Part 820)
