About Children's Minnesota

  • One of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States, providing care exclusively to children.

Department Overview

  • Team includes Cancer and Blood Disorder physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nursing, social work, physical therapy, nutrition, child life, clinic assistants and researchers.
  • Provides care for children with malignancies and blood disorders; participates in national and international research.

Position Summary

  • Accountable for day to day management of ambulatory clinics, assuring excellent patient care and customer service.
  • Works in paired leadership role with Medical Director to execute key strategies improving clinical quality, experience and financial performance.
  • Supports one or more clinic locations and/or specialty programs.

Education

  • BA/BS Degree in healthcare, business, or related field required.
  • MHA, MBA, MS preferred.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience in healthcare industry or completion of MHA/MBA/MPH fellowship program in healthcare/clinical operations.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience managing a minimum of 10 staff people.
  • Experience working in ambulatory clinics.
  • Experience in pediatrics and designated specialty (if applicable).
  • Experience managing a P&L and budgeting.
