Department Overview
- Team includes Cancer and Blood Disorder physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nursing, social work, physical therapy, nutrition, child life, clinic assistants and researchers.
- Provides care for children with malignancies and blood disorders; participates in national and international research.
Position Summary
- Accountable for day to day management of ambulatory clinics, assuring excellent patient care and customer service.
- Works in paired leadership role with Medical Director to execute key strategies improving clinical quality, experience and financial performance.
- Supports one or more clinic locations and/or specialty programs.
Education
- BA/BS Degree in healthcare, business, or related field required.
- MHA, MBA, MS preferred.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience in healthcare industry or completion of MHA/MBA/MPH fellowship program in healthcare/clinical operations.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience managing a minimum of 10 staff people.
- Experience working in ambulatory clinics.
- Experience in pediatrics and designated specialty (if applicable).
- Experience managing a P&L and budgeting.
