The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead transaction execution across the client portfolio and prepare or review reports and documentation for fundraising, acquisitions, and disposals.
• Originate transaction ideas, identify opportunities, open and leverage relationships, and contribute to business development.
• Prepare pitch books and marketing materials and meet with existing and target clients.
• Drive transaction timetables, maintain quality of client deliverables, and manage counterparties and advisers.
• Analyze business drivers and manage transaction issues, risks, insights, factual conclusions, and advice.
• Lead, develop, and counsel junior colleagues and support the growth of the wider team.

Skills and Attributes

• Experience in corporate finance within an investment bank, professional services firm, or boutique.
• Track record working on buy-side and sell-side transactions as well as finance raising.
• Strong numerical, financial, and modeling skills based on a well-developed understanding of financial statements.
• Sound judgment, creative problem-solving ability, and strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality and impactful professional documents for clients and internal use.
• Strong people management skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in finance or a related specialization.
• At least 7–8 years of experience in an M&A environment, including a key role in executing transactions.
