A construction/MEP contracting company seeks a technically proficient MEP Sales Engineer in Riyadh to bridge engineering and sales, identify new business, secure MEP projects, and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities, upcoming tenders, and renovations within Riyadh
- Build a robust pipeline of contractors, real estate developers, consultants, and commercial clients
- Conduct professional technical presentations and product demonstrations to consultants and clients
- Collaborate with estimation and engineering teams to review BOQ, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare competitive, accurate technical and commercial proposals
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while onboarding new ones
- Lead commercial negotiations, finalize contract terms, and secure signed agreements/purchase orders
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and mega projects in Riyadh
- Coordinate smoothly with project management and execution teams for seamless handoff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 2–5 years of proven sales or business development experience within the MEP contracting or building materials industry in Saudi Arabia
- Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, chilled water, ducting, low voltage systems, plumbing, or fire protection)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, SLDs, and BOQs
- Established network of local contractors, consultants, and developers in Riyadh (major advantage)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts simply
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Arabic language skills are highly advantageous
- Valid Saudi Driving License and transferable Iqama (if applicable) are preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities, upcoming tenders, and renovations within Riyadh. Build a robust pipeline of contractors, real estate developers, consultants, and commercial clients.
- Conduct professional technical presentations and product demonstrations to consultants and clients to secure product approvals or contracting selections.
- Collaborate with the estimation and engineering teams to review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), drawings, and specifications. Prepare competitive, accurate technical and commercial proposals.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while onboarding new ones (subcontractors, main contractors, and project owners).
- Lead commercial negotiations, finalize contract terms, and secure signed agreements/purchase orders in line with company profit margins.
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and mega projects in Riyadh to identify strategic growth areas.
- Coordinate smoothly with project management and execution teams to ensure a seamless handoff from the sales phase to project mobilization.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of proven sales or business development experience within the MEP contracting or building materials industry, specifically within the Saudi Arabian market (Riyadh experience highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, chilled water, ducting, low voltage systems, plumbing, or fire protection). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, SLDs, and BOQs.
- An established network of local contractors, consultants, and developers in Riyadh is a major advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with AutoCAD or CRM software is a plus.
