Role Overview
MTEC Electromechanical Works is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MEP Quantity Surveyor.
The role covers quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, tendering, valuation, variations, subcontractor measurements, and commercial management of MEP works.
Technical Scope
- The role requires strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
- The successful candidate must be able to accurately review drawings, specifications, contracts, BOQs, and project requirements.
Quantity Take-Off and BOQ
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Prepare and verify BOQs, material quantities, and scopes of work.
- Identify discrepancies, omissions, and scope gaps.
- Coordinate with estimation, engineering, and project teams.
Estimation and Tendering
- Prepare cost estimates and pricing for MEP projects.
- Assist with tender preparation, bid analysis, and commercial comparisons.
