Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for building and healthcare projects
- Review and interpret technical drawings
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure MEP installations comply with local regulations, client specifications, healthcare standards, and international codes
- Manage project schedules and budgets
- Support early engineering and procurement activities for long lead items
- Supervise site works to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery
- Participate in value engineering
- Prepare technical reports
- Support testing and commissioning
- Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a closely related field
- Experience in hospital or healthcare MEP projects, with knowledge of MOH requirements, ISO, ASHRAE, and other applicable international standards
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools and familiarity with value engineering, sustainability practices, and quality assurance processes
- Strong competencies in Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including integration and coordination across disciplines
- Skills in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in HVAC, piping, and building services design and implementation
- Skills in Electrical Engineering, including power distribution, lighting, essential power systems, and low current systems relevant to healthcare facilities
- Skills in Plumbing engineering, including water supply, drainage, medical waste systems, and sanitary installations
- Skills in Project Management, including scheduling, resource planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination

Role Description
- The MEP Project Engineer will oversee the planning, design, coordination, and implementation of MEP systems for building and healthcare projects.
- Full time hybrid role based in Dubai, with on site presence and some work from home flexibility.
