Our newest opportunity is for a talented MEP Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, KSA. Supporting the design, coordination, construction, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems for a major indoor E-Gaming arena. Contributing to the delivery of a high-profile public assembly venue designed to international standards, featuring significant spectator capacity, multi-use sports and entertainment functionality, advanced building services, and integration with the wider entertainment city. Ensuring MEP systems achieve the highest standards of safety, performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and operational readiness within a high-occupancy, climate-challenging environment. We envisage success in this role to include: Developing, coordinating, and reviewing MEP design deliverables, including: HVAC systems Electrical power, distribution, and lighting systems Plumbing and drainage systems Fire protection systems BMS and controls Related building services Supporting multidisciplinary coordination with architecture, structural engineering, AV/IT, vertical transportation, and specialist event systems. Assisting with clash detection, interface management, and design integration activities. Ensuring compliance with: Saudi Building Code (SBC) ASHRAE, NFPA, CIBSE, IEC, and other applicable international standards Client specifications and sustainability requirements Preparing and reviewing: Technical calculations Specifications Equipment schedules Material and equipment submittals Providing technical support during construction, including: Conducting site inspections Responding to technical queries (RFIs) Reviewing shop drawings Reviewing as-built documentation Supporting the testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems. Participating in value engineering, constructability reviews, and design risk assessments. Maintaining accurate project documentation and supporting BIM and Common Data Environment (CDE) processes. To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline. Typically 7–12+ years of experience in MEP design and delivery of large or complex building projects. Previous experience on sports venues, arenas, public assembly facilities, or other high-occupancy developments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Middle East construction practices, preferably within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Familiarity with local authority approval processes and regulatory requirements. Proven capability in MEP design coordination and construction support. Understanding of high-load event environments and climate-responsive engineering solutions. Proficiency with BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks, and modern digital delivery platforms. Strong technical problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
