Job Overview
AAMTRON GROUP GENERAL CONTRACTING WLL is seeking a hands-on MEP Engineer to manage the site execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on construction projects in Qatar.
The role involves supervision of MEP installations, coordination with civil/architectural teams, and management of subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will have experience in MEP site activities, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and local authority requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the site execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on construction projects in Qatar.
- Supervise day-to-day MEP site activities ensuring installation complies with approved shop drawings, specifications, and QCS (latest edition).
- Review shop drawings, builder's work drawings, material submittals, and method statements; verify coordination against IFC drawings before releasing works to site.
- Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, and architectural activities; resolve clashes and interface issues proactively using coordinated services drawings.
- Manage and monitor MEP subcontractors: track progress against the baseline Programme, verify manpower and material adequacy, and report slippages with recovery proposals.
- Raise and close out inspection requests (WIRs/MIRs) with the consultant; ensure works are offered for inspection at the right stage and rework is minimized.
