Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site MEP Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The MEP Engineer will design, review, and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for luxury projects.
The role requires integration of building services with architectural and interior design concepts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review MEP drawings and calculations, perform load estimations, and select equipment and materials.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and maintain design intent.
- Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations, support site inspections, and monitor installation quality.
- Assist with testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Strong expertise in MEP systems and building services, including MEP coordination.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering for building power distribution, lighting, and related systems.
- Practical plumbing design experience covering water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
- Familiarity with Dubai and UAE building codes, standards, and authority requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, and MS Office.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, project management, and attention-to-detail skills.
