Job Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join its team in Qatar.
The role covers the design, installation, maintenance, and project execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
The position requires technical expertise, project management capability, and performance in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and review HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Prepare MEP specifications, layouts, drawings, and calculations.
- Coordinate MEP planning with architectural, structural, and other engineering teams.
- Supervise on-site MEP installation work for schedule, budget, and quality compliance.
- Lead the MEP team during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, Qatar construction codes, and QCS.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and support material procurement.
- Inspect and audit MEP installations for quality and compliance.
- Test, commission, and troubleshoot MEP systems.
- Maintain project records and provide progress reports to management and clients.
- Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical concerns.
